What began as a grassroots fan movement outside T-Mobile Park in 2023 has grown into something I don’t quite have words for yet, and maybe that's the point.

I engineered these tridents to be like the "believe" signs from Ted Lasso: a simple object that carries a bigger message of unity, balance, and gratitude. But the moment I raised one, I couldn't turn off the fun. You can't describe it. You just feel it!

I’ve intentionally stayed rooted in the community. If you’ve seen me street vending at 1080 Occidental Ave S., by Seattle Sausage, you know we’re about spontaneous dance parties and genuine connection.

The Tridents Unite movement is continually solidified through fans, vendors, stadium support staff, and even the opposing fans. Recently, one Sunday afternoon, while talking with a fellow coach about how sports are a pathway for growth (not just about winning) we saw a bald eagle flying in circles directly over the Gridiron Condominiums. Neither of us had ever seen one flying over the downtown buildings quite like that before. We took it as a sign: a higher perspective, right on cue.

"Tridents Unite" stands for the entire shared experience; honoring our competitors, the joy and grief of the game, and all the people who make this possible. Because without them, there is no game.

It’s a lot of big ideas still figuring themselves out.

Tridents Unite. Call it a movement. Call it a rally cry. Or just call it something building in Seattle.
